PokeSon Adventures - Chapter 2

Cynthia took a peek though bedroom door to see if the Grey Riolu has woken yet, but the little one hasn't. It's been three hours since she found the Riolu outside of Celestic Town and now it rests in the bedroom that once belonged to her little sister. 'I'm a little worried... I hope he hasn't gotten into a coma...' Cynthia thought to herself, that until she looked at the clock 'Oops! It's already 1pm! My Pokemon are going to be annoyed why i let them out of their Pokeballs yet!', this is one of the usual times of day where Cynthia let her Pokemon Team out for lunch and fresh air, though it seems her concern for the Grey Riolu made her loose track of time.

Walking back to the kitchen, Cynthia pulled out two bowls and one large one. Her Garchomp has a very large appetite, hence 'Chomp' in her name. Jokes aside, Cynthia's Garchomp likes to eat a lot ever since the large dragon was a wee little Gible. So as the Sinnoh Champion was about to pour the Pokefood into the bowl, she heard little foot steps coming from upstairs making its way to the stairs. It was that moment that Cynthia turn to see it was the Grey Riolu, the little one stopped in his tracks looking at the Champion in the eye, this relief Cynthia seeing it now that the Riolu is fully awake. 'Had a good sleep there Riolu?', she asked but in response, the Riolu just turn to run to the door. 'Hold on the door-! Too late...' Cynthia sighed to herself as the Riolu ran to the locked back door, face first before falling back with a thump.

The Grey Riolu wasn't happy at all as he rubbed his nose 'Oww!! Why does this always happen to me?!'. This caught Cynthia by surprise, this Riolu can speak! Not though telepathy, but actually speaking though the mouth. Cynthia heard about some Pokemon actually able to speak human, but the only one she saw was that Meowth, and man was he annoying. But this Grey Riolu, he didn't sound annoying though his voice, more like a little boy, which is fitting and actually very cute for a Riolu. She quickly walked over to the little and helped him up 'Are you alright Riolu?'. The Riolu turned to the Champion, giving her a annoyed look, 'Why do you call me that?!' This baffled Cynthia 'Well aren't you a Riolu? Or are you called by something else?'. 'I do have a name you know! But I'm not telling you!' At this point, this made Cynthia a little annoyed by his attitude but she kept her cool 'Alright, I won't ask for your name. So you must be hungry, how bout i serve you some Pokefood?'. The Riolu gave her a stern look in reply 'I'm not hungr- 'GRUMPLE'. This mused Cynthia a lot as she got up and grab a bowl of Pokefood, 'sounds like your stomach says other wise'. Looking at the food given in front of the Riolu, he gave in as her scarfed his face down. This really muses Cynthia.

Awhile later, the Champion was in her bedroom, pulling something out of drawer. Taking a good look at it, she can't help but smile as the object brought so many memories during her trainer days before becoming the Sinnoh League Champion, 'Riolu! Mind coming to the Bedroom? There's something I like for you to wear!'. Still rather annoyed being called that, the Grey Riolu came to Cynthia's room to see what she want 'Could you stop calling me that...?'. It was then to the Riolu's surprise that Cynthia reveals to him, a Black Collar sporting with two pieces of tags that greatly resembles her hair clips. 'I like you wear this.' said the Champion giving a smile, however this made the Grey Riolu mad, 'What is this?! Are you trying to make ne your pet?!'. Cynthia was stunned to hear that, but she couldn't blame herself for doing this to the Riolu, she wanted to look after the Riolu and the collar has a built in chip to prevent him from being captured from any Pokeballs. 'No! This isn't what it looks like Riolu, I want to- Riolu!! Come back!!'

Just at the streets of Celestic Town is a Pokemon Trainer named Barry, he just finished a tournament and well... 'Come on... You think by now I would have gotten enough experience to win this time, nope! Fine! Can't let that bother me! I'll just train harder and- ACK!!' Something ran into his legs which made Barry trip and fall flat into his face 'Oww!! Who did that?! I swear I'll fine someone if they don't pay me back in Three! Two-' he stopped as he saw what tripped him 'Wow! No way! A Riolu! A grey Riolu!!'. The Riolu rubbed his face, leaving him dumbfounded by Barry's action in running backwards, but soon alarmed realizing the situation he is now in. 'I'm going to capture you Riolu! Go Empoleon!' shouted Barry as he throws his Pokeball out. As it opens, a beam of light comes out, taking form of a large penguin right in front the Riolu. The Riolu was stunned by the appearances of the Water/Steel type Pokemon that he whispered to himself 'Gillus...'. 'Now Empoleon!! Use Drill Peck!' being so close, the Riolu took a direct hit by the Empoleon's attack, sending the little Pokemon flying back. Managing to land on his feet, the Riolu knew now he got the change to fight back, pulling his hands back... 'Aura Sphere!' Nothing... 'huh...? Why isn't...'. Barry smirked knowing he's got this battle in the bag, 'Nice one! Just one more Empoleon, Drill Peck'. The Grey Riolu knew then this is it, he was going to be captured... 'Dragon Rush!' The Empoleon was knocked back by a speeding blue blaze, catching both Barry and the Riolu by surprise. Landing before the Riolu stood a large purple dragon, Garchomp. This annoyed Barry 'okay! Who's Garchomp is it?! I'm gonna fine whoever sent this Garchomp on my Empoleon!' That until his expression completely changed as he saw Cynthia approach, 'N-No way! Cynthia?! The Sinnoh regional Champion?!'. 'That's me, now tell me. What are you doing to my Riolu' somehow the little one didn't felt bothered by Cynthia's claims. This got Barry to panick, 'That Riolu is yours?! I'm very sorrry!! I didn't know he's your's Champion!!'

After having to deal with the little predicament. Cynthia held up the collar to the Grey Riolu with a warming smile 'Please Riolu, wear this collar, for me'. The grey Riolu turn to look at Cynthia in the eye for a few secs, blushed a little as he finally took the collar and put it on around his neck 'It's Hypon..' Cynthia looked in surprise by his response. 'People call me Hypon' said the Riolu. This made Cynthia smile 'Hypon huh? That's a cute name'
